Infectious Bursal Disease

Contagious bursal disease, is called Gumboro disease, and contagious bursitis and infectious avian nephrosis. Very high infectious diseases consist of young chickens and turkeys are caused by infectious bursal disease virus, are called immunosuppressive, and mortality is typically between 3 and 6 weeks of age. The illness was discovered in 1962 by Gumboro, Delaware. Because of the increase it is economically important to the poultry industry worldwide. Many disease sensitivity, and detrimental interaction with successful vaccination. Results from the PREPIC study are that IVC filters lead to the introduction of retrievable IVC filters which have shown many long-term complications. The disease is easily spread over food , water, and physical contact from the infected chickens to healthy chickens.
