Head Trauma Scholarly Peer-review Journal
A head injury is any trauma to the scalp, skull, or brain. The injury could also be only a minor bump on the skull or a significant brain injury. A head injury are often either closed or open (penetrating). A closed head injury means you received a tough blow to the top from striking an object, but the thing didn't break the skull. An open, or penetrating, head injury means you were hit with an object that broke the skull and entered the brain. this is often more likely to happen once you move at high speed, like browsing the windshield during a car accident. It also can happen from a gunshot to the top .
Any quite injury that happens to the scalp or skull are often defined as head trauma. There are four sorts of head trauma and that they are neuronal injuries, hemorrhages, vascular injuries and nerve injuries. Symptoms of head trauma are leaking of spinal fluid , which may again cause brain infection, depression within the head, an eye fixed that's drifted to at least one side, wound/bruises on the scalp and skull fractures
