GENES POLYMORPHISMS JOURNALS
A gene is claimed to be polymorphic if quite one allele occupies that gene's locus within a population. additionally to having quite one allele at a selected locus, each allele must also occur within the population at a rate of a minimum of 1% to generally be considered polymorphic. The bulk of polymorphisms are silent, meaning they are doing not alter the function or expression of a gene. Some polymorphism is visible. for instance , in dogs the E locus can have any of 5 different alleles, referred to as E, Em, Eg, Eh, and e. Varying combinations of those alleles contribute to the pigmentation and patterns seen in dog coats.
there's strong evidence that coronary heart condition (CHD) is related to polymorphisms in several genes connected with dyslipidemia, impaired blood clotting , inflammation and other factors of the CHD. this means the existence of genes that coordinate the activity of risk alleles. Circadian genes are of interest during this respect; however, the extent of their relationship with coronary atherosclerosis isn't known. especially , polymorphism in CLOCK gene is related to cholesterol, in PER1 with hemostasis (e.g. fibrinogen) etc. Because disruption in cycles of atherogenic mechanisms) and indirect way (by affecting various components of atherosclerotic process). A journal may be a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an effort to make sure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity.
