Fisheries Open Access
Fisheries are commonly , a fishery is an entity engaged in raising or harvesting fish that is determined by some authority to be a fishery. As stated in FAO, "a fishery is an activity it leads to harvesting of fish. It can involve capture of wild fish or raising of fish through aquaculture." It is generally defined in terms of the "people are involved, species or type of fish, area of water , class of boats, this method of fishing, and purpose about the activities or a combination about the foregoing features". Directly or indirectly, the livelihood of over 500 million people in developing countries based on fisheries and aquaculture. Overfishing, consist of the taking of fish beyond sustainable levels, is reducing fish stocks and employment in many world regions.
