Disaster-response-open-access-journals
Disaster management cycle involves disaster response which is the second phase. It consists many factors like warning/evacuation, search and rescue, providing immediate assistance, assessing damage, continuing assistance. Emergency response is involved to provide immediate assistance to maintain life. Such assistance may range from assisting refugees with transport, temporary shelter, and food, to establishing semi-permanent settlement in camps. It involves initial repairs to damaged or diversion to infrastructure. The aim in the response phase is to put on people safe, prevent of disasters and maintain life until more disaster circumstances settle. Governments support in whose territory the disaster has occurred. Humanitarian organizations involved in the disaster management cycle.
