Conjunctivitis Innovations
Conjunctivitis is an infection of the conjunctiva (the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids), most usually due to an allergic reaction or an virus (usually bacterial or viral).Viral conjunctivitis is the most commonplace cause of infectious conjunctivitis both total and in the adult population. Conjunctivitis is an eye infection in which conjunctiva, a layer of eye infected due to some allergic agents or pathogenic agents. The common symptom related with conjunctivitis is redness of the eyelid swelling and eye ball. There are viral as well as bacterial conjunctivitis where in staphylococci and adenoviruses are the causative agents. The blood vessels in the eyeball develop swollen. The eye may produce water and thick sticky fluid. And the treatment involves applying some lotions and antibiotic drops.
