Common Bean Peer Review Access Journals
The common bean is a annual plant grows worldwide for its edible dry seeds or unripe fruit .The main categories of common bean on the basis of their use are dry beans, snap beans and shell beans. The leaf is also occasionally used as a vegetable and the straw as fodder. It is a member of the legume family Fabaceae. Like most members of this family, common beans obtain the nitrogen as they require through an association with rhizobia, which are nitrogen-fixing bacteria. The common bean is a highly available in variable species that has a long history of cultivation. All these type of species have a climbing habit but many cultivars are classified either as bush beans or dwarf beans, or as pole beans or climbing beans, depending on their style of growth.
