Articles On Low Blood Sugar Level

Hypoglycemia is the word for low blood sugar level or blood glucose. Glucose is the fuel that the brain and body need to function properly. It is important to hold the levels of blood sugar ti normal, not too high and not too low. If hypoglycemia is not treated in a right away, it rapidly deteriorates as the brain is starving of glucose. If you not act quickly, it may become very confused and unable to manage the condition of the person. In severe cases, you may even lose consciousness, have a seizure, or go into a coma. Hypoglycemia mostly happens if the food is not taken timely or as much as you need, or if you skip a meal, drink too much alcohol, doing exercise more than usual, or if you have diabetes.
