Biography:

Dr Soe Soe Wai is a Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Public . She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc) in 1995 from UVS.  Dr Soe Soe Wai has published more than 80 articles in international and national journals. In addition, she serves as a reviewer in some peer-reviewed journals. Her current research activities mostly relate to food safety, including antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and residues in animals, zoonotic and infectious diseases at the human-animal interface, and some environmental studies focusing on waterborne pathogens and agricultural waste products.
