Impairment of vision in amblyopia.

Amblyopia, commonly known as lazy eye, is a visual disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. It is a condition where one eye has reduced vision that cannot be corrected by glasses or contact lenses, even though there is no apparent damage or abnormality in the affected eye's structure. This seemingly benign disorder, if left untreated, can have significant consequences on a person's quality of life, affecting their education, career opportunities, and overall well-being.
