Severe Thalassemia Disease Open Access

Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body types of an abnormal form of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the protein molecule in a red blood cells this carries oxygen.and  The disorder results in excessive destruction  about red blood cells, which tends to anemia. Anemia is a condition in which body doesn’t have enough normal, and healthy red blood cells.It  is inherited, this at least one of the parents must be a carrier of the disorder. It’s caused by either  by a genetic mutation or a deletion of certain key gene fragments.Thalassemia minor is a less serious form based on the disorder. There are two main forms  consists of the  thalassemia this are more serious. In alpha thalassemia,  it consist of at least one of the alpha globin genes  and  a mutation or abnormality. In beta thalassemia, it has the beta globin genes are affected.
