Seismology

Seismology signifying "investigation of") is the scientific study  of  earthquakes and the propagation of elastic  waves through the Earth or through other planet-like bodies. The field also includes study of tremor natural impacts, for example, torrents just as assorted seismic sources, for example, volcanic, structural, maritime, climatic, and counterfeit procedures, for example, blasts. A related field that utilizes topography to derive data in regards to past earthquake is paleoseismology. An account of earth movement as an element of time is known as a seismogram. A seismologist is a researcher who research in seismology.
