Scholarly Peer-reviewed Social Change Journals

Scholarly journals provide as forums for the introduction and presentation for analysis of new research, and the review of existing research. Content usually takes the form of articles presenting original research, review articles, and book reviews. The word Scholarly journal applies to scholarly publications in all fields; this article discusses the aspects common to all academic field journals. Social change is the alteration in the social order of a society (human interactions and relationships). Changes in social institutions, nature, social relations or social behaviors are included in social change. Social change refers to the social progress or sociocultural evolution. Social change may be caused by economic, cultural, scientific, religious, or technological forces. Two types of sources of social change are (a) random or unique factors such as climate, weather, or the presence of specific groups of people. (b) Systematic factors. On the whole, social change is generally a combination of systematic factors along with some random or unique factors.
