Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Journals
Saccharomyces cerevisiae (commonly known as baker's yeast) is a single-celled eukaryote that is often used in scientific research. It has been instrumental in winemaking, baking, and beer, and coffee production because of its enormous fermentation capacity and its high ethanol tolerance and brewing. It is thought to have been originally isolated from the skin of grapes. S. cerevisiae is an attractive model organism due to the fact that its genome has been sequenced, its genetics are easily manipulated, and it is very easy to maintain in the lab. It is also used as a “cell-factory” to produce commercially important proteins (such as insulin, human serum hepatitis vaccines, and albumin). Saccharomyces cerevisiae Journal is designed to bring together research aimed at wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises peer reviewing for the submitted manuscripts to ensure quality. The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
