Pyrometallurgy is the method of thermal treatment of metallurgical ores to under went physical and chemical changes in the materials to recuperate valuable metals from them. Examples are oxides of Manganese, Fe, Chromium, Tin and Sn. Methods that come under Pyrometallurgy are Refining, Roasting, Smelting and Calcining. The energy required to carry out the procedure is provided by exothermic reaction of the material, combustion and from electrical heat. Review articles are the review of present state of understanding on a scrupulous research topic. They examine or discuss research previously published by scientist and academicians rather than reporting new research results.
