Proteomics Scholarly Peer-review Journal
Proteomics is the study of proteins. Proteins play a very important role in of living organisms, with many functions. The proteome is the whole set of proteins that is produced or modified by an organism or system. Proteomics has enabled the classification of ever increasing numbers of protein. Proteomics relies on three basic technical fundamental that include a technique to fractionate multifaceted protein or peptide mixtures, MS to acquire the data essential to classify individual proteins, and bioinformatics to evaluate and assemble the MS data. Proteomics is used to identify protein expression patterns at a given time in response to a definite stimulus, but also to determine functional protein networks that exist at the level of the cell, tissue, or whole organism. The journal of proteomics is an open access, scholarly peer review journal that publishes the articles related to following subjects whole proteome analysis of any organism, disease/pharmaceutical studies, comparative proteomics, protein-ligand/protein interactions, structure/functional proteomics, gene expression, methodology, bioinformatics, applications of proteomics, these are limited you can submit wide range of topics within the field. The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
