Power Steering

Power steering is an advanced form of steering system in which the overall effort required by the driver is reduced and thus there is an increase in the force applied through the steering wheel with the help of either electric assistance. Basically the power steering is hydraulic or electric actuators add controlled energy to the steering mechanism, In order to help the driver who can provide less effort to turn the steered wheels when driving at typical speeds. At time it reduces considerably the physical effort necessary to turn the wheels when a vehicle is stopped or moving slowly. The fact of Power steering can also be engineered to provide some artificial feedback of forces acting on the steered wheels. The one who is behind the power steering system on an automobile was apparently installed in 1876 with the surname of Fitts.
