Plasmid DNA Open Access Journals
A plasmid is a small, circular, extrachromosomal, double stranded DNA molecule that is only found in cells without nuclei (prokaryotes). It can be physically separated from chromosomal DNA and can replicate independently. Plasmids naturally exist in bacterial cells, and they likewise occur in some eukaryotes. Plasmids have a wide range of functions. The genes carried in plasmids provide bacteria with genetic advantages, such as antibiotic resistance. They may contain genes that improve the endurance of an organism, either by defending the host cell by producing toxins or by killing other organisms. Few plasmids facilitate the process of replication in bacteria. Plasmid DNA journal is an open access journal that includes a wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises peer reviewing for the submitted manuscripts to ensure quality. The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
