Peritoneal Dialysis Top Journals
Peritoneal dialysis is the form of a treatment for patients suffering from severe chronic kidney disease. It requires the individual’s peritoneum in abdomen as a membrane. Across which fluids and dissolved substances as it may be exchanged from the blood, and It is used to eliminate excess fluid, correct electrolyte problems, and removing toxins in those with kidney failure. A permanent tube is used for to introduce fluid in the abdomen. It is then flushed out either every night although the patient sleeps or by regular exchanges throughout the day. Peritoneal dialysis is used just as an alternative to the hemodialysis.
