Periodontal Disease Journals
Periodontal disease is a gum disease. The word “periodontal” means “around the tooth.” periodontitis may be a chronic disease of the gum and tissues that surround and support the teeth. If left untreated, periodontitis can cause tooth loss. Symptoms of periodontitis include red and swollen gums, persistent bad breath, and receding gums and loose teeth. Smoking, certain illnesses (such as diabetes), older age, and other factors increase the danger for periodontitis. A journal may be a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specific, short communications, reviews, editorials, letters, although a number of the oldest journals publish articles, and scientific papers across a good range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an effort to make sure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Every single journal article turns out to be a part of the permanent scientific record.
