Blood transfusion is characterized as a transfer of blood or blood components from one person (the donor) to another (the recipient's) bloodstream. Common blood disorders which includes anemia, bleeding disorders such as hemophilia, blood clots, and blood cancers such as leukemia , lymphoma, and myeloma. Blood disorders may affect one or more parts of the blood and it prevents blood from doing its functions. They can be acute or chronic. There were also hereditary blood disorders. Rare blood disorders include anemia, hemophilia, blood cancers, and blood clots, such as leukemia , lymphoma, and myeloma. Blood disorders can affect all of the three main blood components consist of red blood cells that bring oxygen to the tissues of the body, white blood cells that combat infections, platelets that support the blood clot.
