Neonatology  is a peer-reviewed medical journal covers the fields of fetal and neonatal research. It was recognized in 1959 as Biologia Neonatorum and renamed Neonatology is a subspecialty about pediatrics it  consists of the medical care of newborn infants, especially ill or premature newborn. It is a hospital-based specialty, and is typically practiced in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). The patients  are about neonatologists are newborn infants who are ill or requires aimed at the   special medical care because of prematurity, and low birth weight, intrauterine growth restriction, congenital malformations (birth defects), and  pulmonary hypoplasia or birth asphyxia, sepsis. During high infant mortality rates were known as the British medical community at least as early as the 1860s.
