Metabolic Syndrome journal is an Open Access peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research works in the areas related to the field such as increased blood pressure, a high blood sugar level, excess body fat around the waist and abnormal cholesterol levels all these occur together, raising your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Many of the disorders related with metabolic syndrome have no symptoms, even though a large waist circumference is a visible sign. If the blood sugar is high, you may experience signs and symptoms of diabetes as well as increased thirst & urination, fatigue, and blurred vision. Metabolic syndrome is related with the hazard that develops cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. The syndrome may be caused by an underlying disorder of energy utilization and storage.
