Marine Biology Journals
Upon the formation of coral reefs, the voyages of HMS Beagle where Charles Darwin came up with theories of evolution. An expedition by HMS Challenger, where findings were made unexpectedly high species diversity among fauna was thought to be such a hostile environment. An era that was important for the history of marine biology but naturalists were still limited in their studies because of lack of technology that allow them to adequately examine species which lived in deeper parts of the ocean. Studies of marine biology with the age of discovery and exploration determined as Marine Biology. Knowledge gained about the life which exists in the oceans around the world. Many voyages contributed significantly to this pool of knowledge.
