Malignancy Scholarly Journals
A term for diseases during which abnormal cells divide without control and may invade nearby tissues. Malignant cells also can spread to other parts of the body through the blood and lymph systems. There are several main sorts of malignancy. Carcinoma may be a malignancy that begins within the skin or in tissues that line or cover internal organs. Sarcoma may be a malignancy that begins in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or other connective or supportive tissue. Leukemia may be a malignancy that begins in blood-forming tissue, like the bone marrow, and causes too many abnormal blood cells to be made. Lymphoma and myeloma are malignancies that begin within the cells of the system . Central systema nervosum cancers are malignancies that begin within the tissues of the brain and medulla spinalis .
