Immunoglobulin Journals
Immunoglobulins, otherwise called antibodies, are glycoprotein molecules formed by plasma cells (white blood cells). They act as a significant part of the immune reaction by particularly recognizing and binding to particular antigens, such as bacteria or viruses, and aiding in their demolition. The five principal classes of immunoglobulins are IgG, IgM, IgA, IgD and IgE. These are recognized by the type of heavy chain found in the molecule. IgG molecules have heavy chains known as gamma-chains; IgEs have epsilon-chains; IgAs have alpha-chains; IgMs have mu-chains; and IgDs have delta-chains. The manufacturer indicates the subsequent reference intervals for healthy adults: IgA 70–400 mg/dl, IgG 700–1600 mg/dl and IgM 40–230 mg/dl. IVIG is used primarily in two situations. One reason you might need IVIG is if your body does not produce adequate antibodies. Another name for this is humoral immunodeficiency. The IVIG basically provides extra antibodies that your body cannot make on its own. It has antibodies in it to fight germs or disease. When people donate blood, this part can be separated out. Then it can be given to you through IV (intravenous). If you get IVIg, it can help to improve your immune system so you can fight infections and stay healthy. Immunoglobulin Journals are designed to bring together research aimed at wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises peer reviewing for the submitted manuscripts to ensure quality. The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide. Hence, they can freely be accessed and utilized by everyone for the development of science and technology.
