Coastal-erosion Open Access Journals
Coastal erosion is caused due to the human activities because of adaptive management through reasonable mitigation measures is also in the ascendant. China has a coastline of 32,000 km, third Fouth part has been occupied by sandy coast. According to the latest report of the State Oceanic Administration 3,255 km soft coast is damaged due to coastal erosion, 76% of which is sandy coast, and the rest is contributed by muddy coast. It results in heavy land loss and aggravates financial burden, that is unacceptable. Coastal erosion management of China aims to facilitate the sustainable relationship between socioeconomic development and protection of coastal environment in a systematic process by using scientific technology administrative and economic policy to realize the system in order to minimize the adverse impacts of coastal erosion hazard.
