Bone Loss Open Scholarly Journals
Bone loss occurs when more bone is resorbed than is made by the body. Many factors determine what proportion old bone is resorbed and the way much new bone is formed. Primary osteoporosis is associated with the normal loss of estrogen following the menopause as well as age. The average older woman with normal bone density loses about 13% of her bone density in 10 years or about 1.3% per annum. However, there is variety of medical conditions and medications which will cause more rapid bone loss the foremost common conditions are hyperparathyroidism, hyperthyroidism, vitamin D deficiency and celiac disease, and the most common medications are steroids and aromatase inhibitors.OMICS International conferences include data sessions and empirical papers. Conference participants can analyse recordings of round table discussion and interactions. The top open access journals are peer reviewed scholarly Journal of Osteoporosis and Physical Activity.
