Acute Tubular Necrosis Open Access Journals
Acute tubular necrosis is a kidney state involving harm to the tubule cells of the kidneys, which can lead to an acute kidney happening. The tubules are tiny passages in the kidneys that help strain the blood when it passes through the kidneys. Acute tubular necrosis is often caused by a lack of blood flow and oxygen to the kidney tissues. It may also happen if the kidney cells are derelict by a poison or harmful substance. The internal structures of the kidney, especially the tissues of the kidney tubule, become broken-down. Acute tubular necrosis is one of the most common structural changes that can ground to acute kidney failure. Acute tubular mortification is a common cause of kidney failure in people who are in the hospital.
