Abstract:
There is an increasing trend of old age homes as there is
a steep rise in the geriatric population facing formidable
challenges. This KAP study is conducted to evaluate the
knowledge level, different attitudes, and the varying
practices of all the inmates towards oral hygiene, disease and
rehabilitation.
This would help us in educating and motivating the inmates
towards healthy living as oral cavity is the gate way of all good
health.
Biography:
Reshma Karkera is a Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at A J Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Currently pursuing her PHD and serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals.
