Methods and benefits of sustainable farming practices.
Agriculture encompasses crop and livestock production, aquaculture and forestry for food and nonfood products. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to markets. Sustainable agricultural practices are intended to protect the environment, expand the Earth’s natural resource base and maintain and improve soil fertility.
