Immunological Mechanisms of Cancer Immune Evasion and Strategies to Overcome Them
The immune system plays a crucial role in identifying and eliminating cancer cells from the body. However, cancer cells have developed various mechanisms to evade the immune system, leading to tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding these immunological mechanisms and developing strategies to overcome them is crucial for the development of effective cancer immunotherapies.
