The essential work of the respiratory framework is to require in oxygen and kill carbon dioxide. Breathed in oxygen enters the lungs and comes to the alveoli. The layers of cells lining the alveoli and the encompassing capillaries are each as it were one cell thick and are in exceptionally near contact with each other.
