An update of human immunodeficiency virus infection: Bleeding disorders.
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection has been linked to a number of coagulation disorders. High plasma von Willebrand factor concentrations have been associated with HIV illness and may be a sign of active endothelium.
