Neuroimaging is the discipline that deals with the in vivo depiction of anatomy and function of the central nervous system (CNS) in health and disease.Contributors exist in all areas in the neurosciences, including basic scientists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychologists, psychiatrists, physicists, chemists, and clinicians in radiology and nuclear medicine.Congenital toxoplasmosis is a disease caused by intrauterine transmission of the parasite Toxoplasma gondii to the fetus. Traumatic Brain Injuries are a growing epidemic affecting all demographics of our population on a global scale. Pathological and neuroimaging studies have presented a framework that displays the extensive overlap between TBIs and neurodegenerative disease.
The uses of various techniques to either directly or indirectly image the structure, function/pharmacology of the nervous system.Neuroimaging is the process of producing images of the structure or activity of the brain or another part of the nervous system by techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging or computerized tomography.
