Hip Fractures Top Journals
A hip fracture may be a break within the thighbone (femur) of your hip. Joints are areas where 2 or more bones meet. Your hip may be a "ball and socket" joint, where your thighbone meets your pelvic bone. The ball a part of your hip is that the head of the thighbone. The socket may be a cup-like structure in your pelvic bone. This is called the acetabulum. Hip fracture may be a serious injury and wishes immediate medical attention. Treatment for hip fracture usually involves a mixture of surgery, rehabilitation and drugs. Generally Elderly patients suffer from low energy and suffer from pain which is that the reason they can’t bear weight and fracture their hip bone.
