Cytoskeleton Review Articles
Review article comes in the form of systematic reviews and literature reviews and are a form of secondary literature. Precise reviews determine an objective list of criteria, and find all previously published original research papers that meet the criteria. They then compare the results introduced in these papers. Literature reviews, on the other hand, provide a summary of what the authors believe are the best and generally pertinent earlier publications. The cytoskeleton is a structure that helps cells maintain their shape and internal organization, and is made up of microtubules, actin filaments, and intermediate filaments which provides mechanical support that enables cells to carry out essential functions like movement and division. Cytoskeleton journal is an open access journal that focuses on all aspects of cytoskeletal research in healthy and diseased states, cell biological observations and spanning genetic, biophysical, biochemical, and structural studies, mathematical modeling and theory. Cytoskeleton serves as a venue for the fair and rapid evaluation of manuscripts, leading to the publication of high-quality articles that advance the cytoskeleton field. Cytoskeleton welcomes submission of research papers, reviews, short communication, video, images, mini- reviews, commentaries, and techniques.
