Bipolar Disorders Top Journals
Bipolar disorder is an ordinary psychiatric disorder defined by affective instability and psychological feature deficits, particularly during mood episodes. Abnormalities within the ALN and related brain domain appear to be involved in the neurophysiology of bipolar disorder. Moreover, studies indicate a high level of heritability in bipolar disorder, although the involvement of specific genes has not been definitively established. Different effective pharmacological treatment options exist for patients with bipolar disorder. Future learning combining neurocognitive, neuroimaging, and genetic skillfulness may be useful to identify endophenotypes of bipolar disorder and finally to develop rationale treatment strategies and improve the outcomes of individuals with bipolar disorder.
