Hemolytic anemia happens when the bone marrow is unable to replace the red blood cells that are being destroyed. Hemolytic anemia is a type of anemia. Hemolytic anemia is triggered by high rates of red blood cell destruction i.e. erythrocytic loss which  also results in improper bone marrow activity. Initial stages about hemolysis are asymptomatic but in the  final stages about hemolysis  it causes angina and cardiopulmonary diseases sometimes it  leads to death.There are two forms of hemolytic anemia are consist of extrinsic and intrinsic. Diagnosis which  includes tests like Absolute reticulocyte count, Coomb test, direct, Platelet count, etc. Treatment based on the type and cause of the hemolytic anemia and in emergencies blood transfusion is done and other Treatment options for hemolytic anemia contains intravenous immune globulin, corticosteroid medication and severe and rarer cases surgery is performed.
