Algae Fuels
Algae fuel, protoctist biofuel, or protoctist oil is another to liquid fossil fuels that uses alga as its supply of energy-rich oils. Also, algae fuels are another to usually well-known biofuel sources, like corn and sugarcane. once made up of algae (macroalgae) it is called algae fuel or algae oil. Several firms and government agencies are funding efforts to cut back capital and in operation prices and create alga fuel production commercially viable. Like fuel, algal fuel releases CO2 once burnt, however not like fuel, alga fuel and alternative biofuels solely unleash CO2 recently far from the atmosphere via chemical process because the alga or plant grew. The energy crisis and also the world food crisis have lighted interest in algaculture (farming algae) for creating biodiesel and alternative biofuels exploitation land unsuitable for agriculture. Among protoctist fuels' enticing characteristics are that they will be big with borderline impact on water resources.
