8. Postural Control Review Articles

Postural control is a term used to characterize the way for central nervous system (CNS)  which regulates sensory information from other systems in order to produce adequate motor output to maintain a controlled, upright posture. It refers to a child's ability to assume and maintain upright posture while seated without support. A child who has proper postural control can assist a seated position without fatigue. Postural control is important because it provides a base of support which allows the arms and legs to move smoothly, Then the Primary functions for postural control system are building up posture across gravity and ensure that balance is maintained.
