Biography:

Dr Suresh Varma is an experienced medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Townsville. In 1979 he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. Dr Varma subsequently completed his Doctor of Medicine MD (General Medicine) in 1983 and Doctorate in Medicine (Medical Oncology) in 1992. He later became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2010.
