Biography:

Dr. Terry G Wise was trained as molecular biologist and obtained his PhD in 1986 at the University of Leiden. He is currently Head of the Laboratory of Experimental Virology and Professor of Virology at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) of the University of Amsterdam. He is member of several international science committees and editorial boards. His research interests include basic RNA studies (RNAi mechanisms, structure and function of HIV-1 RNA)
