Biography:

Researcher at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy - Department of Agricultural and Environmental Science. My current research interests stem from my desire to highlight and valorize fundamental aspects about the agro-biodiversity. These aspects include: i) collecting and preserving memories and knowledge of biodiversity; ii) retrieving and identifying landraces within the territory; iii) characterizing, cataloguing and preserving them. I am interested to study these aspects using several tools that allow us to understand broader themes such morphological and chemical diversity, ethnobotany and conservation (in situ and ex situ).
