Biography:

Dr. Shervin Assari is an associate professor of Family Medicine at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, Los Angeles, California. He joined CDU after being a faculty member at UCLA and the University of Michigan. His research is focused on health disparities due to race, gender, and class. He has served on the  American College of Epidemiology (ACE) and the American Academy of Health Behaviors (AAHB).
