Biography:

Dr. El-Bassiouni graduated with honours from Cairo University in 1995. He received his radiation oncology training in Cairo University Hospitals and University Hospital Zurich in Switzerland, where he mastered intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) techniques for the treatment of head and neck cancer as well as prostate cancer. Dr. El Bassiouni has a Masters of Science (MSc) and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in clinical oncology. He is also a Royal College of Radiologists fellow (FRCR-London). Multiple peer-reviewed worldwide articles in prostate, head & neck, and gastrointestinal malignancies have been published by Dr. El-Bassiouni.
