Scholarly Peer-Review Journal In Cytogenetics
Cytogenetics is necessarily deals about the branch of genetics, Where as it is also a part of cell biology or cytology, That is concerned with by means of the chromosomes are relate to cell behaviour, particularly to their behavior while mitosis and meiosis. Techniques used to include karyotyping, analysis of G-banded chromosomes, other cytogenetic banding techniques, as well as the molecular cytogenetics like as Fluorescent In situ Hybridization (FISH) and Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH). Chromosomes are first recognized in plant cells by Karl Wilhelm von Nageli in 1842. The behavior in animal cells was characterized through Walther Flemming, the discoverer of mitosis, in 1882. Cytogenetics declared the nature of the chromosomal defect: a "simple" trisomy. Abnormalities arising from nondisjunction events may cause cells along aneuploidy in one of the parents or in the fetus.
