Scholarly Journals In Sport Injury Treatment
Sports injuries are injuries that occur during sport, athletic activities, or exercising. In the us, there are approximately 30 million teenagers and youngsters combined who participate in some sort of organized sport. Of those, about three million athletes age 14 years and under experience a sports injury annually. The RICE method may be a common treatment regimen for sports injuries. It stands for: rest, ice, compression, elevation. This treatment method is useful for mild sports injuries. For best results, follow the RICE method within the primary 24 to 36 hours after the injury. It can help reduce swelling and stop additional pain and bruising within the youth after a sports injury.
