Biodiversity And Bioprocessing Journals List
Global biodiversity is a key for ecosystem functioning, human well-being, 17 declining at an unprecedented rate of over 100 times the normal rate prevailing between previous mass 18 extinctions. Biodiversity is an essential to agriculture and human well-being, but it is declining at an unprecedented 5 rate. Depending on the ecological context, livestock is either among the most harmful 7 threats to biodiversity and necessary to maintain high nature value farmland. Including biodiversity in environmental assessments is due to its intrinsic complexity, scale issues and the significant difficulty is associated with reducing biodiversity. Quantitative and assessment methods are needed to assess biodiversity along with other environmental criteria, to meet international commitments on biodiversity and to avoid the risk of burden shifting among environmental criteria.
