Biography:
Beifen Shen, male, Han nationality, was born in 1943. His ancestral home is Kunshan, Jiangsu Province and graduated from the Biological Department of Fudan University. His research interests include basic RNA studies (RNAi mechanisms, structure and function of HIV-1 RNA) and applied research (RNAi-based gene therapy for HIV-AIDS, novel gene expression switches and live-attenuated vaccine designs).
